U-Haul Self Storage

U-Haul Self Storage project consisted of two pre-engineered structures totalling 18,500 sq ft. This design building project had unique design challenges to meet U-Haul requirements. U- Haul requested Dixin Construction to match the existing buildings which had block and shingled roofs. American Buildings Company was able to meet this challenge by designing a metal roof structure that could accept a shingled roof. The main building was also designed with climate controlled units to maintain constant temperatures year round.

A & W, Strathroy, ON

St. Philips School

St. Philips School located in Petrolia, Ontario recently underwent an expansion and renovation. Dixin Construction Limited was the successful bidder on this fixed tender project. Dixin completed this project in the 2007 with an overall cost of 1.1 million dollars.

Classrooms were added to the south end of the building. Conventional load bearing masonry and structural joists were used in the construction of the addition. The interior north wing of the school was demolished and renovated to meet the school boards requirements for day care that met the latest government regulations.

St. Peters Canisius School

St. Peters Canisus School located in Watford Ontario also underwent an expansion and renovation to meet the requirements for day care. Dixin Construction Limited was the successful bidder on this fixed tender project. Dixin completed this project in the 2007 with an overall cost of 450 thousand dollars.

A day care classroom was added. Renovations to the existing school were also completed. Conventional load bearing masonry and structural joists were used in the construction of the addition.
